The agritourism Case Perrotta is located on the slope of the Etna Vulcan, 700m above the sea level in the territory of Sant’Alfio (Catania). Furthermore it is five minute’s walk from the millenary “One hundred Horses Chestnut tree”. The surface of about 13 hectares runs along the natural Etna park and it faces the sea giving it a very wide and impressive landscape of the Taormina citadel, the port of Riposto, the bay and the Etna Vulcan grandeur with its top craters. The houses architecture dates from 1500 and 1600 giving to the structure a very appealing atmosphere. The “Azienda Perrotta” farm is located in a particular architectonic context, which consists of a small village (“borgo”) different from the usual rural settlements of the area. The “Case Perrotta” farm consists of 13 hectares located on the east slope of Etna, and it is managed under organic farming methods.
The ancient main house of the agritourism Perrotta in Sicily, first nucleus of the monastery, and the old millstone house (originally used to crush grapes into must) today hosts ten rooms with services sleep 25. The formula includes a rich and tasty breakfast. Those who wish, can have meals at the restaurant for a special price.
The Mediterranean cuisine culture finds here one of its best expressions. The formula of Case Perrotta is “all inclusive". Case Perrotta suggests a basic menu which includes a wide variety of warm and cold starters, the tasting of three main dishes, a mixed grill or other second dishes with warm or cold side-dishes.
